Celebrating the New Year will look a little different due to social distancing requiring many businesses to move their New Year’s celebrations online or through virtual platforms. We pulled together a list of the top in-person and online celebrations to help bring celebrate NYE safely in Nashville.
Jack Daniels Music City Midnight – Visit Music City
Nashville will host a televised Jack Daniel’s Music City Midnight: New Year’s Eve in Nashville show featuring indie-rock band Moon Taxi and powerhouse trio The Shindellas.
The TV show will air from 10:30 p.m. to midnight (CST) locally on WTVF-NewsChannel 5. Nashville-based Moon Taxi will play for 40 minutes just before midnight. The Shindellas, who fuse jazz, soul and R&B, will perform a 20-minute set earlier in the show. The show will include highlights from previous years. CNN will feature the countdown live from Nashville as the central time zone rings in the New Year.

Adventure Science Center
From 10 AM to 5 PM on December 31st. Happy NOON Year events are from 9 AM – 2 PM. FREE for members and regular admission for non-members (all activities included with admission). There is no better reason to celebrate than the end of 2020. We’re going back to the future and saying goodbye to 2020 with an all-day New Year’s Eve celebration complete with DJ entertainment, complimentary champagne toasts, belly dancers, and more surprises as we ring in the New Year around the world.

Say goodbye to 2020 at Bowie’s Nashville as we host Geneva this New Year’s Eve! Even though we can’t be open at midnight, that won’t stop us from celebrating the coming of 2021 with a champagne toast at 10pm. The legendary Derek St. Holmes will play throughout the evening!
New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball – Fable Lounge
Ring in the new year with cocktails, competitions and prizes during the New Year’s Eve celebration event. Admission is free and reservations are currently sold out. It is recommended that you reach out directly to the venue to be added for admission or be added to the wait list. Party starts at 5pm – 10pm.
