Pamper U Nail Boutique
We are excited to share this great news with you! North Nashville is undergoing a major transformation and the Black community is working hard to ensure they continue to be represented throughout this historical side of Nashville. We heard through the grapevine about Kenitra Rowan, the owner of Pamper U Nail Boutique. Soon to be the first Black-owned Nail Salon location in North Nashville and reached out to learn more.
Pamper U Nail Boutique is a professional nail salon that promotes healthy nail care. The nail salon will be opening its doors at 3803 Hydes Ferry Road, Nashville TN 37218 on May 16th during their Grand Opening celebration.
Owner, Kenitra Rowan decided to open in North Nashville because it’s where she grew up. “There is so much history in North Nashville and I wanted to be the first African American to provide a service that promotes healthy natural nail services for everyone. We’re Black-owned but our customer-base is diverse”, said Kenitra during a phone interview with us.
I want this to be a place where women, men and children can come to not only take care of their outer appearance but to also have their inner person refreshed. During every appointment, my team and I talk with our clients, encourage them, and we may even give them scriptures to help them with something they are dealing with. The atmosphere is always positive. That is important to me. When nail techs reach out to rent booths from me, I interview them. I have to make sure they will add to the atmosphere and not hurt it.”
Pamper U Nail Boutique will also be a place to shop for accessories, purses, natural oils and fragrances. Kenitra is accepting applications for nail techs, natural beauty stylists, and Yoni professionals. She is also offering one of her suites as a daily rental for mobile stylists.
